I first discovered my passion for empowering people with OCD in 2018, when I worked in an intensive outpatient setting. After seeing the impact evidence-based treatment can have on someone struggling with OCD, I made it my mission to help as many OCD sufferers as I could… And I’ve never looked back!
I found the work so compelling that I even co-authored the workbook, Writing and Living Your Fears Away, especially for clients dealing with stress, anxiety, and OCD.
My approach to therapy is collaborative. I work with my clients to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their individual needs and goals. I also provide support, encouragement and when necessary, accountability throughout the therapy process.
After 17 years of clinical experience, I know how important it can be to coordinate with other providers, school personnel, and family members. So, I do my best to make sure the whole treatment team is on board with the plan by reaching out and following up with other team members when appropriate.
When not in session, collaborating with other team members, or seeking out the latest training, I can be found doing yoga, hiking, gardening, or spending time with family and friends. When asked to describe me, my friends and family use words like “honest”, “passionate”, and “determined”.
